Started the run and was feeling pretty good, so decided to feel the run out and give myself the option of doing the progression run today. Same route as last Friday, and same average pace, but this was much better run. Did a better job of managing the effort. Made sure to keep the first half of the run very relaxed and easy, just like a normal easy run. Once again hills throughout the run played with the pace, but I was prepared for it and it wasn't nearly as bad. Wound up the effort from 4 miles out. Last mile was pretty damn tough, that hill is killer. My legs were jellying up like it was the end of an 8k. Other than that, I felt strong throughout. Splits:
