Notes

Good long run. A cold and windy morning, light dusting of snow on the ground, but it warmed up as we went and I was layered up the perfect amount so conditions weren't bad. First hour with Paul, Brian, Steve, and Ben Faz, then did 30 minutes (Brunswick Hills) with Paul, then added on a final 30' on my own. Hopefully two weeks from now we can do more of a real loop. Felt pretty good overall, not super sore anywhere although the slippery road was a little tougher to run on and my legs are fairly tired. Got in a solid 3-4 hour nap yesterday, so I'm feeling pretty rejuvenated. Average pace came out a little faster than I would have expected.

Another good week, got the full doubling routine in and hit another 100+. A good enough Tuesday hill workout and a very solid progression run on Thursday. Feeling a little tired, sure, but not really worn down out at all. This coming week will require a little flexibility probably, with traveling on Tuesday and then the holiday on Thursday (traveling back on Sunday shouldn't be an issue, easy enough to get in the long run before). Plan is to get in my run + workout Tuesday morning early before class, then hopefully squeeze in a double after class before I leave. Thanksgiving, will probably try and warmup/race/workout/cooldown equal to ~70 minutes, and then double on Saturday instead of Thursday. If I miss Tuesday's double, then I'll try and sprinkle some extra minutes onto my Thursday/Friday/Saturday runs. 7 weeks to first meet!
