Notes
20' tempo run solo on the track. In trainers, windy day but track was dry! Wasn't sure how it would go, but I'll call it a success. Shin pain stayed very mild the whole time, hardly noticed it. Had a weird sensation though (back off h8rs) - felt like my right quad was doing all the work, left quad didn't feel nuthin. Splits:
5:36
5:37
5:43
2:53
14.x (~75m)
It was a strong effort, running solo + wind made it tough and I wasn't super confident considering my shin pain, which also probably physically held me back a bit. But not worried, don't think I need to read much into this workout other than that it shows that I should have this shin thing under control! A little nervous about tomorrows long run but I really think I've got it figured out now.
