Ran at noon, which was... A choice. It was 92 degrees and cloudless. I tried to hug the shadow of the treeline the best I could but once I got out to Louisville I was baking in an open oven. With 2 miles to go I was having to steady my focus and maintain good form to not break down. I didn't crush myself but it was definitely more taking than I was anticipating, but heat will do it to ya.
