Decided to push this run as I haven't run in a few days. Decent pace from the start but it was hard work. I kept the pace up but it wasn't easy. Really wanted to get a first run in a long time under 8 min/mile pace and just about made it. Achilles ok with a few secs stretch just after the start. Did tweak my right calf on the inside towards the end but a good stretch seemed to ease it a bit. Feel it when I'm home but doesn't seem too bad. Good strong run but it was tough to maintain the pace.
