First long run since the HM in Spain. Had a few drinks the night before but got into my running after about 20 - 25 mins. Starting off it was quite tough and I wasn't sure how I would get on but I improved as I went on and after 30 - 35 mins I started to up the pace. Felt quite good and pushed a lot earlier than normal. Felt strong pretty much the whole way home and brought the average spped down from about 8.16 per mile after half way to under 8 mins per mile by the finish. 89 mins running is about my limit without a gel and I felt under pressure towards the end. Still finished strong and a great run overall - really good to feel confortable at this distance again
